Celebrating a record-breaking year with $775,000 raised.
Special events are held within the community to raise money and to heighten awareness about new programs and innovations at Cape Cod Healthcare. Our events are truly neighborhood “Friend-Raisers” and are vital to our overall fundraising endeavors.
There are two types of special events: Foundation-based events with strong volunteer committees; and strictly volunteer events that are directed by community supporters who lend their expertise and energy to organizing and implementing fundraisers.
Last year, almost $432,000 was raised in Foundation-based events; a remarkable $343,000 was raised in strictly volunteer events.
Listed in this section are details and highlights covering annual Foundation-based events: Cape Cod Healthcare Golf Tournament, Cape Cod Hospital Swim/Run, Falmouth Hospital Summertime Gala and the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod Golf Tournament.
In addition, a listing of the fourteen volunteer events follows with income raised from each. The Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation is grateful to its volunteer committees and the individuals and businesses that contribute to the success of each of these events. We remain indebted to these hard working individuals and generous donors, and their ongoing commitment to quality health care on Cape Cod.
